Wooden Soap Dish

A soap dish significantly extends the life of your handcrafted soaps. By keeping your soap and/or shampoo bar out of standing water you will help them last much longer.

You can also extend the life of our soap dish. I encourage my customers to use soap dishes in pairs. Use one soap dish for 2-3 weeks, and then gently wipe clean with a damp cloth and set aside to allow it to fully dry out. Use the second dish for 2-3 weeks while the firs dish dries out, and then alternate them this way.

Allowing dishes to fully dry out every few weeks will prevent mold and mildew from developing and it will prevent wood from becoming waterlogged and rotting. This will greatly increase the life of you soap dish.
